Our homeschool curriculum is based on a 4 day week that roughly looks like this. We keep it simple. Formal lessons are no more than 10 minutes. The memory verse is no more than 10 words. The poetry is based on the current season. Habits and Character Training from is http://www.kidsofintegrity.ca/. French vocab words might be 'pardon' and 'non'. The bible stories are out of the childrens bible. Narration is based on Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes. Nature study is simply observing nature and weather. Language Arts is from http://www.starfall.com/ and math is from Math Lessons for a Living Education. Arts and Crafts 'twaddle free' things focusing on hanidworks rather than meaningless paper crafts. It is SIMPLE and it is fun.
